Tomorrow I am going to a Green Tara mandala offering. It is open to the public. What should I expect?

A lot of chanting.  Perhaps in a different language, like Tibetan.

People will have their own liturgies, and there may be some for newcomers.  If not someone will offer to share.

The recitation will go quickly.  Don't worry about keeping up.  If you're sharing ask to be shown where they are, but be discrete and considerate .

The sadhana is beautiful.  Soak up as much as you can.

Thank you. Do they bless the sand and give it as a gift or does it get placed in water.
