Yep! :) I think that place got really messed up... it's pretty sad.  I found out about here from reddit, hopefully some more people will find it.

Hi Jangchup Donden, I remember you from e-sangha  :namaste:

Different name, same face.  If only I could get the website to stop squeezing my head! :)  Good to see some old friends here.

Karma Kagyu, but not exclusively so. I've had a close connection to a a Gelugpa and a Nyingmapa lama. :buddha:

Also I look at the 12 steps as a type of Lam Rim. That might freak some people out, but I might as well get it out in the open right away.
Warning: I'm enough of a fundamentalist Tibet style Buddhist to believe that for the last 1,000 years Tibet has produced a handful of enlightened masters in every generation. I do not ask that YOU believe it, but it will greatly simplify conversations if you understand that about me. Thanks.

Hi, Kagyu practioner here.  Main centre is SAmye Ling in Scotland.  I live in Cornwall and there is a tiny group of us (about 10 or so) who get together once in a while for teachings.

That's not a cause to freak out; it's a cause to rejoice in your good fortune and wish you continued and complete success with that. Plus, I'm sure you didn't mean the 12 steps would lead to buddhahood anyway lol.

*edit: oh and welcome to you and Karma Sonam. Caritas, nice to see you again.  :hello:

Hello All,
I mainly practice according to the Nyingma school.
I make attempts to complete the practice of Tonglen and a Crazy Wisdom teaching.

Update. i am now in funky town. BTW hi all. I roll Nyingma, but have some Gelug and kagyu leanings, but side with Mipham rather than Tsongkhapa.
