I like Tsem Tulku's talks.

In his younger days, he was very flamboyant and this upset some people, but this talk is informative and delivered in a very measured and thoughtful way, so maybe he has calmed down his delivery - not too much I hope. :)

I found this a lot easier to watch than the videos that Yeshe is referencing.  In fact I really like it, thanks T.

There's a book called "The Sound of Two Hands Clapping" by a westerner that went through the geshe program. I haven't read it but Allan Wallace recommended it.
Warning: I'm enough of a fundamentalist Tibet style Buddhist to believe that for the last 1,000 years Tibet has produced a handful of enlightened masters in every generation. I do not ask that YOU believe it, but it will greatly simplify conversations if you understand that about me. Thanks.

Ya while watching I was thinking he is mellowing out. That wild delivery... well one time he said something about depressed people that put me off the entire Gelugpa school for a year.

I think he is transcending the self. We shall see. :D
Sergeant Schultz was onto something.
