From the perspective of the society, there is the rule of law between people, but there are no rules between human beings and animals. However, the causes and effects are very equitable between people, between humans and animals, and between humans and environments. Whoever creates bad karma will attain bad results. As you can see, the principle of cause and effect is the fairest and the most reasonable rule. It is absolute and subtle, definitely without any omissions and differentiations between the statuses of the beings. (
