Mahayana Buddhism claims to guide and enlighten all beings, but is guiding and enlightening them equivalent to giving them food and water when they are hungry and thirsty? Of course, these beings need them, but doing so cannot solve the problem of liberation at all. The most crucial part of guiding and enlightening the beings is to guide them towards the paths to liberation, instructing them to study the Dharma and to understand the truths of the Samsara. In this way, the beings would now how to study, how to practice, how to move toward liberation, and how to find and follow the paths to liberation from the Samsara. Doing so is guiding and enlightening all beings.
