When we do anything we hope to achieve good results, otherwise it is not helpful even we do many, which is similar to Dharma study. We should observe: Before studying the Dharma, we have many worries and strong clings, and we also live very tiredly. After we study the Dharma, are our minds getting more relaxed? If we feel that we do not live tiredly after Dharma study, it means that our practices start to yield good results. If we feel the same way as we do before the Dharma study, we have to investigate well and find the problems.
