Do Zen Buddhists ever borrow practices from other schools of Buddhism, for example, chanting the Buddha's name like in Pureland, or other mantras and devotions?

I do metta meditation from Tibetan traditions.

the more profound you go, more capable to catch the pirit of teaching in many many lineages,Or if you need some kind of assistance/help it can be used without confussion.
