You finally get it ?  :D
A man sees the rope in the twilight he mistakenly apprehends a snake and develops fear. To remove this fear he must remove the mind apprehending a snake by realizing that there is no snake. Even then, if the rope is left in the same place there is a danger that the same mistake will be made in the future. The only way to remove this danger is to remove the rope. Similarly, sentient beings observing their aggregates in the darkness of their ignorance mistakenly apprehend an inherently existent I. This mind grasping at an inherently existent I is the root of samsara and the source of all fear. To remove the fears of samsara we must remove this mind by realizing that there is no inherently existent I.

Hm. Been reading Thich Nhat Hanh? He always has something interesting to say about such things.

Excellant!
Now that you have realised that, "Form is emptiness, Emptiness is form", now is perhaps time for your next realization.
That is,"There is no Today!".
Because the "universe" is not a thing that began somewhere, and ends somewhere (not a thing of coming and going); but a thing of always changing and growing, transforming itself continously...because of that there is no place that is the "center". Your mind wants to find a "center" from which it can define a "past" and a "future". But there is no "center", that is only an illusion of your mind. Therefore, there is no "center", no place to measure the "past" from and no place to measure the "future" to. So both 'future" and "past" are false ( a product of your ego mind's illusion of self).
And when you understand that there is no "past" and no "future" then perhaps you will also understand that for the same reason there is no "today".
There is only the ever changing, but all abiding "now"; which is always changing but always unchanged.
Hope you understood all that...but anyhow, don't pay too much attention to it. It is only my hopeless dabbling in understanding after reading some of Dogon's commentary on the nature of the universe, and trying to digest the ideas in there.
Like all Zen musings...it won't help you p**s if your bladder is full. will it?

Emptiness is form.  Form is emptiness.

Form is also form.  Emptiness is also emptiness.  Mountains are mountains, rivers are rivers.

Emptiness is form.  Form is emptiness.

Probably my fav piece of dharma.  :)

Do you ever feel Zen practitioners are full of it? Emptiness?
They always seem to follow a form of minimalism.

If you can identify it, maybe this ox can move on . . . :blank:
